Reflux Valves Supplier
Reflux Valves
Reflux Valves can be used in low to high pressure flow systems to allow the fluid to flow in one direction only to prevent the backflow for the protection of plumbing installations from high pressure and water hammering.
It is fabricated by using premium class materials which gives higher strength and rigidity. Buyers can get Reflux Valves from us in large quantities at a reasonable and low price
What is a reflux valve?
A reflux valve is a non-return valve: it lets water flow in one direction only and closes when the flow tries to reverse. It is also called a check valve or NRV. Our reflux valves are the swing check type: a hinged door is held open by the flow and swings shut against its seat when the flow stops, with minimum head loss while open.
Where is a reflux valve installed?
On the delivery side of a pump, so that when the pump stops the column of water in the rising main cannot run back through the pump. They are used on water, effluent and sewage lines, in sizes from 40 to 700 mm, conforming to IS 5312 (Part 1) and BS EN 12334.
